Moses Commands Obedience
1“And now, O Israel, listen to athe statutes and the rules ▼▼Or just decrees; also verses 5, 8, 14, 45
that I am teaching you, and do them, cthat you may live, and go in and take possession of the land that the Lord, the God of your fathers, is giving you. Deuteronomy 5:1
The Ten Commandments
1And Moses summoned all Israel and said to them, “Hear, O Israel, the statutes and the rules that I speak in your hearing today, and you shall learn them and be careful to do them.Deuteronomy 6:3
3Hear therefore, O Israel, and be careful to do them, that it may go well with you, and that you may multiply greatly, das the Lord, the God of your fathers, has promised you, in a land flowing with milk and honey.Deuteronomy 30:12-14
12 eIt is not in heaven, that you should say, ‘Who will ascend to heaven for us and bring it to us, that we may hear it and do it?’ 13Neither is it beyond the sea, that you should say, ‘Who will go over the sea for us and bring it to us, that we may hear it and do it?’ 14But the word is very near you. It is in your mouth and in your heart, so that you can do it.Ezekiel 20:11

25For circumcision indeed is of value afif you obey the law, but if you break the law, your circumcision becomes uncircumcision.
